Description :: The user chants the incantation "mana clypeus" if they're a beginner or simply "clypeus" if novice or higher, before they either point their palm or channeling object in the area they wish to conjure the shield. Originating from the central point will be a small, round shield with a diameter of 2.5 feet. This shield is composed of raw magical energy and, despite being a beginner spell, can take a fair amount of damage. It can sustain damage from up to one Novice level attack or an equivalent number of lower level attacks. Any higher than Novice and the attack will punch right through the shield. Although slow, the shield can be moved around the user at Beginner- speed so long as it stays within range.

This shield is composed of raw magical energy and, despite being an Adept spell, can take a fair amount of damage at the expense of speed. It can sustain damage from up to one Advanced level attack or an equivalent number of lower level attacks. Any higher than Advanced and the attack will punch right through the shield. Although slow, the shield can be moved around the user at Novice speed so long as it stays within range.

Although somewhat slow, the shield can be moved around the user at Advanced speed so long as it stays within range.

It can sustain damage from up one Legendary+ level attack or equivalent. Any higher than Legendary+ and the attack will punch right through the shield. Although not the fastest, the shield can be moved around the user at Master speed so long as it stays within range.
