Solaris Palace is a massive castle spanning twelve acres in the center of Serenum. This castle is where the royal family, along with generals and top officials of the military, reside. There are a myriad of places to sleep, eat, train and host an assortment of political activities should they be necessary. Being composed entirely of gold, the palace shimmers brilliantly in the sunlight and is watched over with vigilance by the royal guard.

In the center of the area are various fire pits where everyone typically congregates late in the night.

King's Cross is the residential district located just west of the royal palace. Only the wealthiest and most noble of Serenum's people are permitted to reside here, being charged an exuberant tax for increased patrols, more capable guards and the luxury of living in the more polished area. The mightiest adventurers often find their way here in order to take on more lucrative quests.

Grey Grove is a large residential district in the kingdom made up of many houses and inns where the poor and working classes of Serenum reside. Its name is derived from the general atmosphere of despair and lack of color throughout the area. The corners are often littered with beggars and, on occasion, someone seeking out cheap help or labor from the local adventurers who have yet to earn a name for themselves.

The Merchant District is a sprawling shopping district laid out along many small hubs and alleyways. The kingdom's merchants and crafters, as well as those from abroad, congregate here to sell various goods and services. Nearly anything may be sold here, from swords and armor to potions and food. Setting up a stand here is free of charge, although those from outside of the kingdom must apply for a permit.

The Southern Gates are too large entrances found along the southern wall. Although they are generally well guarded and house a number of guard towers, with many checkpoints and patrols, various smugglers and monsters may still find their way through several intermittent holes along the base. Generally, only those with proper documentation may enter through the gates however. All legal traffic, by land at least, must enter Solaris through these gates.

The Catacombs are where the remains of past soldiers of all ranks are stored, deep beneath the ground. The only entrance may be found just outside of the Southern Gates, but adventurer's are urged to be cautious. The Catacombs, over the centuries, have become a festering ground for undead creatures and beings of all types. However, there is a wealth of rewards for those who persevere and make it to the lower levels.
