The Divines WvF2Mg7

Gods are born and empowered by a number of things. Some transcend time and have existed for all of eternity, whereas others are born from the collective will and desires of sentient life. It's not until large numbers of people come to believe in the idea of a divine that one will slowly begin to take form, albeit without any power, divinity or consciousness. It's not until enough sentient beings pray to said divine that it will begin to accumulate power and a sense of purpose. The act of praying to a divine carries a large sum of magical energy, or mana, that empowers the divine being prayed to. The more prayers a divine receives, the more complete and powerful they become. Once they've gained enough power from prayers to fully manifest, however, they are also able to accumulate far greater power for each devout soul that ends up in their domain.

Note: Even if all of the prerequisites are met for the creation of a new divine, it will still require the approval of an administrator or owner before it becomes official. This is to prevent the creation "troll" divines who either don't fit in with the lore or don't make sense. It's also to ensure that too many divines aren't created so a reasonable amount may be maintained.

- Archea (God of the Sun) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Eternal Flame', Archea was the first divine and is credited with the introductions of genetic mutation and evolution to the world of Sosaria. He is worshipped as the god of the sun, evolution and justice. It is believed those who pursue justice and protect the weak and disadvantaged will receive his blessing, as it is his will for the human races to one day evolve into a force capable of rivaling even the gods. Toward that end, he bestowed a set of commandments upon them as a form of moral instruction.

Archea (God of the Sun):

- Busho (God of War) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Warlord', Busho was the second divine and worshipped as the god of war, valor and honor. It is believed those who pursue strength and honor above all else will receive his blessing, as he views any being as incapable of defending itself as unworthy of existing. Toward that end, he commands his followers to seek power by any means necessary and to resolve disputes through duels of power. He is worshipped fervently by the nation of Shimaguni.

Busho (God of War):

- Dalie (Goddess of the Hunt) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Huntress', Dalie was the third divine and worshipped as the goddess of hunting, taming and cooking. It is believed those who pursue the sport of the hunt above all else, and achieve great feats, will receive her blessing, as she views the thrill of the hunt as the greatest, and most primal, reason worth living. Toward that end, she commands her followers to hunt in a sustainable manner, hunt with honor and sport as well as to make proper use of every part of whatever is hunted.

Dalie (Goddess of the Hunt):

- Zirana (Goddess of Nature) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Gardener', Zirana was the fourth divine and worshipped as the goddess of nature, conservation and peace. It is believed those who hold a deep respect for nature and its conservation, as well as walk the path of the pacifist, will receive her blessing. She believes, above all else, in peaceful coexistence and the respect of all living things. Toward that end, she commands her followers to farm and garden in a sustainable manner, to never take the life of a living being and to treat all of nature with respect.

Zirana (Goddess of Nature):

- Neba (Goddess of the Aurora) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Night Queen', Neba was the fifth divine and is worshipped as the goddess of the moon, stars and the aurora lights. It is said that those who place their faith in her will be led safely to their destination on any voyage, though primarily voyages which take place during the night. The Lunarians, whom comprise the majority of her worshippers, believe that by praising her once each week, she will protect them and maintain the peace each night.

Neba (Goddess of the Aurora):

- Malleator (God of the Forge) -

The Miestans, whom comprise the majority of her worshippers, believe that by hosting a festival in her honor once each month, under the new moon, she will bless their civilization with peace and population growth. Meiles favors love above all else and despises those who seek to interfere with it.

Meiles (Goddess of Love):

- Bahra (Goddess of the Sea) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Sailor', Bahra was the eighth divine and is worshipped as the goddess of all bodies of water and those who inhabit them. It is said that those who place their faith in her will be blessed on their sea voyages and with abundance when fishing. The Jazirans, whom comprise the majority of her worshippers, believe that by sacrificing a portion of whatever they catch at sea to her each week, she will continue to grant them her blessings and return the sacrifices several fold the following week.

Bahra (Goddess of the Sea):

- Schreiber (God of Inscription) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Scribe', Schreiber was the ninth divine and is worshipped as the god of language, inscription and the arts. It is said that those who place their faith in him will learn new tongues with ease, have the power of their Inscription skill amplified and never be at a loss for muse. Schreiber (God of Inscription):

- Ygeia (Goddess of Healing) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Healer', Ygeia was the tenth divine and is worshipped as the goddess of restoration, healing and alchemy. It is said that those who place their faith in her may see themselves healed from any wound or cured from any poison or disease. - Magiya (Goddess of Magic) -
Referred to in the olden times as merely 'The Sorceress', Magiya was the eleventh divine and is worshipped as the goddess of magic, spells and rituals.
