Description :: The loud cackling of laughter fills the air and fierce winds leave the surrounding forest rocking to and thro. One lone man, seemingly an elder, stood draped in a dark black robe before an alter of sorts. His pupils are so large that his irises are almost impossible to see. As he raised his wrinkled arms to the sky, writing along the base of the alter begins to shimmer and glow. One by one, arms begin to tear up through the ground beneath him. It takes mere seconds for the undead army to unearth themselves, standing rigid yet looking as if the wind alone could blow them apart. They emanated a foul stench but also a dark mana signature which was equally repugnant to any who were capable of seeing such things.

Necromancers defy the gods, using ancient magic which has long since been lost in most nations. This is because all knowledge of being a necromancer is transferred orally throughout small covens scattered throughout Sosaria. Their intentions depend entirely on the coven itself, but one thing holds consistently true: they have rejected the gods altogether and will have no place to go once they pass. Necromancers get no afterlife, which is why they seek any and all means to prolong their own life.
