Haitan was originally established by the Leoni over a century ago, but quickly grew into one of the largest cities in the Maderan Republic. The entire city is built in the style of their people, and leoni comprise almost the entire population. While the people of Haitan are proud traditionalists, they do allow visitors so long as they respect their culture and customs while a guest in their city.

The Enchanted Forest is densely wooded area overflowing with magical creatures and energy. True to its name, it has a mystical aura radiated by the plant-life that gradually saps the stamina and mana from sentient beings. Once they've been drained to the point of exhaustion, the many creatures of the forest, having developed an immunity to the effect, will close in and prey on the outsiders.
