| The Stat System is what determines your character's core physical and mental capabilities within the role-play realm and, to a small extent, what your character is generally capable of. They are in no way intended to decide battles between players unless that's their prerogative. Keep in mind, however, that a Battle Mod may use a stark difference in stat levels as the basis for their decision on some matters. Although you may only Grandmaster two stats, you may Master all of the others. Stat Levels
- Beginner | The Beginner is someone who has extremely little to no experience with the stat.
- Novice | The Novice is someone who has familiarized themselves with the fundamentals and may be considered average.
- Adept | The Adept is someone who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals and is starting to show promise.
- Expert | The Expert is someone who is very experienced with a stat and demonstrates a solid grasp of all aspects.
- Master | The Master is someone who has extensive experience with a stat and displays exceptional talent with it.
- Legendary | The Grandmaster is someone with nearly unparalleled experience in a stat and possesses remarkable talent with it.
The Stats Available - Stat Information:
- Strength (Power)
Strength measures your character's bodily power and the extent to which they can exert raw physical force. It allows you to wield larger weapons and wear heavier armor. The power of your physical moves are determined by your Strength stat. Depending on the weight of a weapon, your character might not be able to wield it if they aren't strong enough.
- Agility (Speed)
Your Agility measure's your character's physical movement speed and coordination. This includes physical speed and agility but not mental speed or reflexes. How quickly your character is able to run, as well as the speed of their physical movements in general, are determined by this stat. Furthermore, your Agility stat will determine the base speed of your physical moves.
- Endurance
Your Endurance attribute is a measure of how resilient your character is. This stat has three benefits to it. Firstly, they take less damage from attacks (how much less depends on how much a character has invested in their endurance). Debuffs, diseases and other ailments may also take longer to go into effect, cause a milder effect or be ineffective entirely.
- Intelligence
The Intelligence attribute is a measure of your character's mental acuity, accuracy of recall and ability to learn new concepts and skills. Those with great Intelligence stat can resist or even free themselves from illusions, persuasion or any other attack on their mind; so long as they are aware of it. If you lack the Perception to realize you're in an illusion, you won't be able to break free. Alternatively, intelligence can also provide a substantial boost to the effectiveness of illusion spells, charismatic persuasion or just about anything which depends on the mind.
- Perception
Your Perception attribute determines how perceptive you are of your surroundings, as well as how quickly you're able to respond to threats or other events. Those with a high perception stat are able to detect traps, notice when they're being followed, realize when they're in an illusion and react to high speed attacks of any nature.
- Charisma
Your Charisma attribute determines how likeable your character is. How well you lie, socialize and even lead are determined by this stat. This stat is required in order to control higher level creatures, summons, NPCs and even cities/kingdoms. For every level of Charisma one possesses above Beginner level, the cost of NPC goods is reduced by 10%. You may also sell goods to NPCs at a 10% markup for every level.
Training Your Stats In order to train each stat, all you have to do is satisfy the requirements outlined below: Beginner → Novice | 1000 EXP Novice → Adept | 3000 EXP Adept → Expert | 5000 EXP Expert → Master | 7500 EXP Master → Grandmaster | 10000 EXP Buffing & DebuffingAnything that affects the power or speed of an item or technique is considered a stat buff/debuff and follow the same rules. Anything that affects the cost or capacity of anima or mana are also counted. Buffs and Debuffs on Lorecraft do not use the base attribute as point of reference. For example, buffs which weaken a target must specify just how weak they become. Regardless of how weak or powerful said person is, their strength will lower to that level. The same applies to buffs. If the target is already weaker than the debuff would make them then it has no effect. Likewise with buffs to stats which are already higher. |
