The Perk System is exactly what it sounds like. For every skill that you advance to Master level, you will be allowed to obtain one perk. Perks do not come free, however, as you will have to pay 5,000 EXP for each one. Furthermore, each character is limited to no more than eight perks in total. If you wish to trade in one perk for another in the future, you must pay 10,000 EXP. Keep in mind, the perk must correlate with the skill that you mastered. For example, if you mastered Destruction Magic then you would have to choose a Magic Perk. Other Perks can only be obtained through the completion of special quests.3

- You may only possess, at the most, two perks that boost stats passively and one perk that does so conditionally.
- You may only possess, at the most, two perks that boost the Power or Speed of techniques.
- You may only possess, at the most, five Legendary Skills perks.
- You may only possess, at the most, two perks that decrease MP/SP cost or increase MP/SP capacity.

(These rules do not apply to racial strengths, which have their own separate limits)

  • Spell Blade | You are able to channel spells through weapons, armor and other combat items.
  • Mana Sensitivity | You are able to passively sense any source of mana within five meters of your person.
  • Father Time | You are able to cast spells that affect the flow of time itself.

Trade Perks

  • Tradesman | You are able to advance three Trade Skills to Legendary level.
  • Enchanter | You are able to imbue items with more one enchantment each.
  • Alpha Wolf | You are able to command up to three pets at a time.
  • Animal Lover | Animals take half the word count to tame.
  • Green Thumb | Your plants grow at twice the rate they otherwise would.
  • Master Chef | Food items take half the word count to prepare.
  • Philosopher's Stone | Potions take half the word count to prepare.
  • Weaponsmith | Weapons take half the word count to produce.

  • Demigod (Limited) | You have been recognized as a Demigod by your respective deity.
  • Natural Leader | Your Charisma is passively increased by one level at all times.
  • Seafarer | The requirements for you to travel by sea are reduced by half.
