| The Stat System is what determines your character's core physical and mental capabilities within the role-play realm and, to a small extent, what your character is generally capable of. They are in no way intended to decide battles between players unless that's their prerogative. Keep in mind, however, that a Battle Mod may use a stark difference in stat levels as the basis for their decision on some matters. Although you may only achieve Master or higher in three stats, you may reach expert in all of the others. IMPORTANT | You may not refer to stat levels in any capacity unless there is a disagreement on whether or not a certain feat should be possible, in which case the stat system may be used as reference. There is no need, however, to outright state what specific amount of speed or specific amount of strength one is using. It will always be assumed that they are using the degree of speed or strength the situation calls for. In a life or death battle, it is assumed they are acting at full strength in every capacity. Stat Levels- Beginner | The Beginner is someone who has extremely little to no experience with the stat.
- Novice | The Novice is someone who has familiarized themselves with the fundamentals and may be considered average.
- Adept | The Adept is someone who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals and is starting to show promise.
- Expert | The Expert is someone who is very experienced with a stat and demonstrates a solid grasp of all aspects.
- Master | The Master is someone with nearly unparalleled experience in a stat and possesses remarkable talent with it.
- Legendary | The Legendary level is only achievable by boosting a stat. No one may achieve this level otherwise.
The Stats Available - Stat Information:
- Strength (Power)
"You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice." Strength measures your character's bodily power and the extent to which they can exert not only raw physical force but anima as well. It allows you to wield larger weapons and wear heavier armor. Even the power of your physical attacks are largely determined by your Strength stat. Depending on the weight of a weapon, your character might not be able to wield it if they aren't strong enough. Those who focus on strength are usually destined to walk down a path of loss and bloodshed. Whether such breaks or makes them determines how far they can truly go. Some of the strongest, for example, can rip trees from the ground with ease and even punch a hole clean through a being lacking in endurance.
- Agility (Speed)
"If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough." Your Agility measures your character's physical movement speed, flexibility and coordination. This includes physical speed, dexterity and acrobatics, not your mental speed or reflexes. How quickly your character is able to run, as well as the speed of their physical movements in general, are determined by this stat. Furthermore, your Agility stat will have a huge impact on the speed of your physical moves. Those with high agility stats are able to work in move at unbelievable speeds. Those lacking in the perception stat would have a difficult time keeping up with them at all should they get serious.
- Endurance
"Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes." Your Endurance attribute is a measure of how resilient your character is. This stat has three benefits to it. Firstly, they take less damage from attacks (how much less depends on how much a character has invested in their endurance). Debuffs, diseases and other ailments may also take longer to go into effect, cause a milder effect or may even be ineffective entirely. Those who walk the path of endurance are able to withstand attacks which would normally kill others. Even the blades of swords can glance seamlessly off the surface of their skin, should one reach that stage.
- Intelligence
"The measure of intelligence is the ability to change." The Intelligence attribute is a measure of your character's mental acuity, accuracy of recall and ability to learn new concepts and skills. Those with a great Intelligence stat are less susceptible to attacks targeting the mind; so long as they are aware of it. If you lack the Perception to realize you're in an illusion, you won't be able to break free. Alternatively, intelligence can also provide a substantial boost to the effectiveness of spells pertaining to the mind. Gold and Exp rewards for Quests are also doubled if your skill in Intelligence is equal to or greater than the quest in question.
- Perception
"Intuition comes very close to clairvoyance; it appears to be the extrasensory perception of reality." Your Perception attribute determines how perceptive you are of your surroundings, as well as how quickly you're able to respond to threats or other events. Those with a high perception stat are able to detect traps, notice when they're being followed, realize when they're in an illusion and react to high speed attacks of any nature so long as they possess the physical or magical means to do so. Those with a high perception stat have the keenest of all five senses.
- Charisma
"Charisma is a sparkle in people that money can’t buy. It’s an invisible energy with visible effects." Your Charisma attribute determines how likeable your character is. How well you lie, socialize and even lead are determined by this stat. This stat is required in order to control higher level creatures, summons, NPCs and even cities/kingdoms. For every level of Charisma one possesses above Beginner level, the cost of NPC goods is reduced by 10%. You may also sell goods to NPCs at a 10% markup for every level. In the event of war, whichever side whose leader has the higher Charisma stat is the leader whom which the vast majority of the NPCs will side with.
- Stamina
"One's power and strength are worthless lacking the stamina to employ them effectively." Your Stamina attribute determines a multitude of things, including how long one might be able to hold their breath, how long one is able to engage in battle and even how much anima one not only produces but also has in their reserves. Those with a high Stamina stat are able to unleash devastating attacks one after another while seeing little fatigue. Stamina is critical to any person who seeks to engage primarily in melee combat. Beginner | Anima capacity is increased by 50 MP. Novice | Anima capacity is increased by 100 MP. Adept | Anima capacity is increased by 200 MP. Advanced | Anima capacity is increased by 300 MP. Expert | Anima capacity is increased by 400 MP. Master | Anima capacity is increased by 500 MP. Legendary | Anima capacity is increased by 600 MP. Godly | Anima capacity is increased by 1000 MP.
- Spirit
"Spirit is the driving force behind all spells. They are the manifestation of spiritual energy in the form of mana." Your Spirit attribute determines your overall resistance to any and all effects which are magically induced, offering somewhat of a resistance to magic. More importantly, however, is your Spirit stat also determines how much mana you're able to store in your reserves as well as amplify the power of your magical spells. Beginner | Mana capacity is increased by 50 MP. Novice | Mana capacity is increased by 100 MP. Adept | Mana capacity is increased by 200 MP. Advanced | Mana capacity is increased by 300 MP. Expert | Mana capacity is increased by 400 MP. Master | Mana capacity is increased by 500 MP. Legendary | Mana capacity is increased by 600 MP. Godly | Mana capacity is increased by 1000 MP.
