About the System

The Skill System here on Lorecraft RPG is fairly simple in nature and lacks the same restrictions that many sites impose. While all characters start out as a Beginner in all skills, you may select two to start as a Novice in. You may train as many skills as you wish to the level of Master, but ascending to Legendary requires the relevant perk first. Please refer to the Perk System for more information.

Skill Levels

  1. Beginner | The Beginner is someone who has extremely little to no experience with the skill.
  2. Novice | The Novice is someone who has familiarized themselves with the fundamentals and may be considered average.
  3. Adept | The Adept is someone who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals and is starting to show promise.
  4. Expert | The Expert is someone who is very experienced with a skill and demonstrates a decent grasp of all aspects.
  5. Master | The Master is someone who has extensive experience with a skill and displays great talent with it.
  6. Legend | The Legend is is someone who has mastered all possible aspects of a skill and whose talent is revered by all.

The Skills Available

Magic Skills:

Increasing Skill Levels

Increasing one's skill level requires a certain amount of experience. Experience is deducted when spent, therefore if you have 1000 EXP and advance a skill to Novice, you will be left with no experience. The only skill level that requires anything beyond EXP points is Legend, which also necessitates the relevant title in order to advance to.
Beginner Novice | 1000 EXP
Novice Adept | 2500 EXP
Adept Expert | 5000 EXP
Expert Master | 7500 EXP
MasterLegend | 10000 EXP + Perk
